Visited this place between Westminster Abbey and Churchill Warm room tours. Super convenient location. Excellent food and beautiful setting. Delicious fish and chips, and steak pie.

Good amtmospere except for one of the American bartenders crying about how his buddy R Kelly were innocent and oppressed and how the judicial system in the US was unfair.  Move back to LA and do us all a favor. I just wanted several beers in a classic English pub without hearing that whining. Take it to CNN brah.

This place saved me today. I had taken an international flight to London last night and was in serious need of coffee. The service was prompt, friendly, and invited us with open arms for what we needed. There is a Red Lion in the US, but none of them have their service. The menu looked delicious that I told my friends we must come back for more and try their menu. If food isn't what you need they have delicious cappuccinos and lattes.

Stopped in here around 10:30pm for a pint, was told I had 15 minutes before last call, what is this craziness?   I'm used to last call being no earlier than midnight!
The pub itself was quite cozy, it was busy but not so busy that we couldn't get a seat at a table (made out of a barrel).  The bartender was nice and the prices weren't bad at all.

Very cool old bar in a secluded back alley. You can stand inside or out. If you don't walk down this alley, that can't be more than 6 feet wide, you'd miss it. Same draft beer as you find everywhere else in London. Pop in for one!
